(*Above: Note the black cat - & scratches - in the number 30 on Pere's bike...)

Here’s a Q&A type list with Pere that Aspar put up on its rider biog pages.
Love the bit about cats - having his cat wink at him then winning, and also a black cat listed under “an animal”... interesting to note, therefore, the little black cat peeping out through the number 30 on his bike... ;)

Pere Tutusaus: Quotes from Portuguese GP

Here's some post-race quotes from Pere, who came in 22nd at Estoril, talking about his performance and how he's moving forward this season...

“I got a good start and made up some positions on the inside but I’m still lacking pace over the opening laps. I didn’t feel comfortable and I think I could have set faster times but I’m happy because I finished the race and I picked up more experience. I hope we can continue to improve in the next race in China and who knows, we might even make up some more positions.”

Let's see how things go at Shanghai...
Nice work Pere :)

Video of the Mapfre Aspar Team 2008 Photo Shoot

Here's a videoclip of the 2008 pre-season photo shoot for the Mapfre Aspar Team, covering both the 125cc and 250cc squads.
It features the bikes and all the riders, with 250 boys Alvaro Bautista & Hector Faubel showing off their new red livery, and the 125 squad's Gabor Talmacsi and Sergio Gadea joined by newbie Pere Tutusaus in the usual blue/white combo.
You may well recognise some of the poses, as this is where the shots we use of Pere up here on the website come from! ;)

Enjoy... :)
