2009 CEV Schedule for iCal

For those of you who have a Mac and run OSX - or who run PCs with compatible calendar systems (such as Mozilla based stuff, etc) I've pulled together an iCal for next year's CEV schedule.

So to get the 2009 CEV calendar in your iCal or '.ics' based calendar software, click here...

Pere Tutusaus Fans Group On Facebook

A quick snippet of news as we head into the off-season is that I've set up a Facebook Group about Pere - "Pere Tutusaus Fans" - where fans of Tutu who are on Facebook can share photos, videos, news and links.
It's not intended to replace this site, or compete with it or any other Pere websites, but it may hopefully become a useful point of reference, and a good place to find other fans.
Facebook is a pretty large place and a good "connection point" for many, so it makes sense to have a presence there.

Video Interview - Pere @ Jerez Round 7, CEV

Here's a video from after Round 7 of the CEV championship at Jerez, the final race of the season where - as you will know if you've been reading, Tutu came home 3rd securing a 3rd place in the overall championship standings.
Lovely work Tutu - we're proud of you!
I desperately want an explanation for those enormous specs though!!!

Pere Takes Third In Jerez And In 125cc CEV Championship

Another awesome ride from Pere today in the final round of Spain's CEV championship.
He was on the podium again - in third - a result that winds up giving him thrid spot overall in the final Championship standings. (1st Efren Vazquez on 112, second Luis Saom on 96, and third Pere with 79).
Obviously I'm still really sad that the Aspar Team wouldn't let him see out the MotoGP 125cc season with them, but this result today and his whole performance across the year in CEV certainly demonstrates what a talent the guy is.

Felicidades Tutu! Estupendo! :)

Here's the top ten form today's final round at Jerez...

Valencia, CEV Rd6: Pere Takes A Brilliant 4th

(*Above: results in full - Click to enlarge)

Well, a tiny bit frustrating for Pere - finishing just off the podium and also just behind Adrian Martin (his Aspar replacement).
But he should feel incredibly proud that he managed such a good result on a far inferior piece of machinery.
Todays result (Salom in first, Vazquez second, and Martin third) sees him now thrid in the overall championship with just one round remaining.

Estupedo, Tutu! :)

Alvaro Bautista 2009 Calendar Now Online

Okay - a slightly off-topic plug for my 2009 BatiCal, which is now online for download.
As per last year, it's a special BatiFans.com design, completely chocca with great pics, and fully marked up with all MotoGP dates and the Batster's birthday.
All the info and pics you should need to go on your Mac/PC desktop or to print out onto some nice glossy stock for your walls or *real* desktop
I’ve done two versions; one high resolution top print quality, and the other screen quality (although it has to be said this will print out very well indeed anyway).
Just wanted to give you the option of a seriously quality version if you plan on outputting it onto some costly paper/stock.

Full information and downloads are here at the BatiFan.com Fan Forum...

Hope you enjoy it, and I hope you'll pass the links around so that other fans and friends can enjoy it too. As well as a nice piece of Bati fanart and a useful calendar it also helps pimp BatiFans.com so anything you can do to spread the word in that respect is *always* appreciated... :)
